Marketing Opportunities for Chamber Members
The following are established opportunities that our members can use to market their businesses because of their connection to the Chamber. There are sometimes other opportunities – including promotions such as Shop Locally Initiatives and Bobcat Student Orientation (aka Pre-College) – to help make your business visible that the Chamber becomes aware of throughout the year. Best News Tip of the Week
Chamber members can choose to sponsor the "Best News Tip of the Week" promotion for $100 per month. Through our partnership with Power 105 and Susan Barga of Larry Conrath Realty, we offer a $50 Athens Area Chamber of Commerce member gift to the person furnishing the best news tip of the week. This particular spot receives hundreds of mentions a month and is a great way to get your business name heard on the radio. Free Logo Listing
As a paid Chamber member, we encourage you to submit your logo to be included on the Chamber website. Your logo will appear on a rotating basis on the front page of the website, and also on the front page of the Buyers Guide/Member Directory section as well as in your on-line listing. ChamberGram Advertising
For $100 per month, you can advertise your business in the Chamber's monthly newsletter, the ChamberGram. You can design the ad or contact the ChamberGram editor, Dale Stoll, so she can work with you to design your ad. Monthly ad space fills up fast, so please reserve your spot in advance. There is a $50.00 deposit for all ad reservations. The remaining balance of $50.00 is invoiced to you the month your ad is run. Athens Area Chamber of Commerce Map
In February of each year, The Athens NEWS contacts Chamber members for the opportunity to advertise on the official Athens City/County Chamber map. A cooperative effort by Chamber of Commerce and the The Athens NEWS, 17,000 of these maps are printed each May and it is available online. Membership Directory
In March of each year, the Athens Messenger contacts Chamber members for the opportunity to advertise in the official Athens Area Chamber of Commerce Membership Directory. This publication also contains demographic information about Athens County and information about the Chamber of Commerce. Also available in a readable and downloadable format online, about 5000 of these Directories are printed in June and distributed throughout the following year.
