Elevate Your Political Voice – 9 Ways to Understand, Engage, an Activate*
In this session, we will describe the research showing reasons why women should participate more in representative government, barriers to entry, and the impact their voice can have on local and state policy.
We will provide:
- 3 practical steps any woman can take to educate herself on relevant political issues and offices;
- 3 methods she can use to engage in her community to make an impact; and
- 3 ways she can activate now to begin her political journey.
As representative government should reflect the people, this session will also be instructive to any population that is underrepresented in the government. We will save time for questions.
