Keeping Afloat: How to Lift Ourselves and Others Through Passions and Hobbies*

What is your passion? Your hobbies? What do you want to talk about with everyone you meet so you can share the joy? How can that help others? In this session, Nancy Baur will present the idea of lifting others with your own passions and activities that you already have and enjoy. Through a hands-on activity and presentation, Nancy will help attendees look at the activities that already give them hope and provide ideas on how to share these passions with others without over taxing and adding stress to life. Nancy will present information on how sharing activities with others can help personal growth as well as strengthen emotional, mental and physical health. Attendees will be encouraged to develop and then share activities with their communities to lift up themselves and others. All handouts and activity materials will be provided for session attendees.
