
The purpose of the Southeast Ohio History Center is to collect, preserve and share Southeast Ohio’s unique cultural and natural heritage.
The Southeast Ohio History Center works to be the champion of natural and cultural heritage in Southeast Ohio, and the center’s objectives are:
- Provide an outstanding visitor experience in our Exhibits, our Programs, our Events, and our Library.
- To be sustainable through Fundraising and Efficiency.
- The Preservation of Southeast Ohio’s stories and places through Advocacy and Education.
- Board Development.
- Provide our Volunteers with an outstanding experience.
- To Build Partnerships with Local Governments, Non-profits, and Local Businesses.
The Southeast Ohio History Center is open Wednesday – Friday, 10am – 4pm and Saturday 12-4pm.
The Genealogy Center and Library hours are Wednesdays, 10am-2pm and Fridays, 10am-2pm.
Access to the Museum Store and the Genealogy Center and Library are FREE.
