A Successful BSO Resource Fair!

Another successful Ohio University Bobcat Student Orientation (BSO) is in the books and we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to get in front of so many new members of the Athens community!
Every Monday through Friday for the entire month of June, staff from the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce or one of our member businesses worked the tables at the BSO Resource Fair, informing incoming students and their families about all of the awesome local businesses and organizations in the Athens area and emphasizing the importance of shopping local.

Thanks to the many member businesses who donated stickers, brochures, and other swag and marketing materials – it helped to make our table a popular stop!
We would like to thank Passion Works for donating a puppet to liven up our table and bring that special Athens flare. Thank you to Avery Nelson from Kismet and Grace Corbin from Casa Nueva for staffing shifts at table, and a special big thanks to Gene Armes and Andrew Stout, both from the College Bookstore, for regularly volunteering to staff the table!
