The Athens Area Chamber is excited to announce that this year we will be participating in Bobcat Student Orientation activities at Ohio University. For the full month of June, the Chamber, in partnership with the Athens Uptown Business Association (AUBA), will have a table set up at the BSO Resource Fair, where first year students will get the opportunity to learn about on- and off-campus resources. The table at the fair will be devoted to Chamber materials and materials from AUBA members, and the Chamber staff and AUBA members who staff the table throughout the month will be there to encourage students to patronize local establishments.
The Chamber is thrilled to have this opportunity to meet with upcoming freshmen and encourage them to patronize local businesses.
