Residents and visitors alike have been enjoying the return of the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) to Uptown Athens.
The DORA is an initiative that the Chamber and the Athens Uptown Business Association (AUBA) worked hard to have enacted in 2021. According to the Athens DORA website: “During the days and times the DORA is in effect, people 21 years old and over can purchase alcoholic beverages from a permitted establishment and carry them within a clearly defined area within Athens!”
The DORA will run from May 5 through August 15 during the following days and times. Cheers!
Thursdays 5pm – 10pm
Fridays/Saturdays 12pm – 10pm
Sundays 12pm – 8pm
