Another great CAP Happy Hour in the books! Thank you to all who came out on Thursday, June 8th, to The Pigskin for what turned out to be a night of fun, laughs, good food – and even a guest appearance by the Southern Ohio Copperheads mascot, Homer!
Thank you to our host and sponsor, The Pigskin, who really brought it with the appetizers that they put out for attendees – their spread included smoked pulled pork and beef brisket, cauliflower wings, brussel sprouts, mac n’ cheese, and more! Join us for Brew Week CAP Happy Hour on Thursday, July 13th, from 5-7pm at Casa Nueva!
We are so excited to make our return to Casa Nueva – believe it or not, the last time they hosted us for a Happy Hour event was during Brew Week in 2019. It’s safe to say a lot has changed since then, but one thing you can still count on is some delicious Casa apps for all of our attendees. And this year, we encourage our attendees to enjoy those apps while networking and then consider taking advantage of the DORA and go exploring other businesses Uptown after CAP Happy Hour ends!

As an organizing partner for Connecting Athens Professionals (CAP), the Athens Area Chamber helps to intentionally create a welcoming and informal environment for emerging leaders to feel comfortable creating and fostering new connections. The monthly CAP Happy Hours are casual open-house style networking events that offer a chance to socialize with emerging and experienced professionals while patronizing a different business every month. CAP events are free and open to the public.
