The Athens Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Membership Coordinator.

This is a salaried, full-time position with a flexible schedule and hybrid workplace.

The Membership Coordinator, as a key collaborator, visionary leader, and community-builder, is essential to the success of the mission and operation of the Chamber.

The primary functions of this role are membership investment oversight and visionary leadership of the Ambassador volunteer group, event planning and fiscal management. This person will work independently as needed, but in collaboration with Chambers staff, to oversee membership recruitment and retention, event planning, and membership programming in support of the organization to strengthen the Chamber’s standing and encourage membership.
