As Ohio continues its phased reopening, The Athens County Economic Development Council & Athens Area Chamber of Commerce are distributing PPE Safety Toolkits via a JobsOhio and OhioSE initiative to help ensure that small businesses are equipped to stay protected and operate safely within the State’s guidelines. These PPE Safety Toolkits contain:
- 100 3 ply masks
- 10 KN-95 masks
- 24oz bottle of hand sanitizer
- City of Athens mask ordinance awareness poster
There are 60 toolkits available on a first-come, first-served basis. To request a kit, please contact either Dani Underhill or Mollie Fitzgerald:

Businesses will need to set aside time to pick up their kit at the Ohio University Innovation Center (340 W. State Street) at one of the below pick-up times:
- Wednesday, July 22nd between 1-3pm
- Thursday, July 23rd between 10am-12pm.
