We are just beginning the second month of the year and already, I know this will be an amazing year for our Chamber.

In late January, we hosted our 36th Annual Awards Dinner & Meeting. It was an unforgettable evening filled with celebrating our outstanding award winners, networking, making new connections, and fully feeling a sense of community. We presented 7 awards to deserving individuals, businesses, and organizations. Our presenters and the award winners were able to share their successes and stories; all with a common theme: they do what they do for the greater good. People like these are what make our community what it is. I’m so proud to live here and work for such incredible members. Check out a recap of the night here!

Through thoughtful conversations with our members, staff, and board of directors, I have finalized the 2023 goals for the Chamber, which follow:

Reinforce Membership Benefits

The Chamber will be the go-to local business membership organization providing education, networking, advocacy, shared services, and cost-savings programs. We will be attentive, knowledgeable, and dutiful stewards to all members.

Enhance Connections

Through diversifying our signature events, workshops, and networking activities, we will reach ALL of our members. We will create meaningful spaces for our members to connect, learn, and network to ensure a sense of belonging and community.

Expand Visibility

Through our highly visible website, social media accounts, advertising, maps, and more, The Chamber will continue to utilize all means to provide exposure to our members. We will share the stories and successes of our members with the community through various and diverse outlets.

Grow Existing Businesses

The Chamber will provide contacts, learning opportunities, and help to locate resources to help our member businesses thrive in an ever-changing economy.

Increase Membership

With a full staff carrying a lot of passion, we will increase our membership by more actively recruiting new businesses to join our Chamber. We will be intentional about making sure prospective members AND current members understand and take full advantage of the many benefits we offer.

Your membership and the success of your business and/or organization is of the utmost importance to me and the Chamber staff. I do not take the responsibility lightly and want to be sure you are always heard. Reach out to me anytime with insight, thoughts, concerns, or questions. Our success is your success!

With gratitude,

Kristin Miller, President
