Ryanne Oldham began working for Jackie O’s Brewery at the end of her freshman year in 2011 as a food server and bartender. Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University in 2014, in early 2015 she began developing the quality and laboratory program at the brewing facility. Ryanne has continued working in the brewery lab developing and implementing QA/QC protocols and propagating yeast, employing microbiology and biochemistry practices. She earned her Master’s degree in Chemistry from Ohio University in 2021, focusing on methods of detection of beer-spoilage microbes.
